Chauncey Webster
In the spring of 1993, Chauncey Webster co-founded East Coast Green, originally named St. Thomas General Contractors, in partnership with his brother, Hunter. The business began in a room of the family farm house and soon moved to the farm tenant house which stood across the street from the company’s current headquarters. In December 2015, the brothers dissolved their partnerships, and Chauncey carried forward with East Coast Green, where he now serves as President of the company.
Chauncey is a native of St. Thomas, and lives on the family farm purchased by his grandfather and namesake in the 1940s with wife Jennifer, sons Thomas and George, and mother, Marilyn. The family also operates Webster Farms: of a herd of Registered Angus cattle, horses and various crops. In his spare time, Chauncey enjoys time with his family and farm, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
Dan Wilson
Dan came to East Coast Green from a career in management with United Airlines in 2001. Early on, he managed the planting of all trees and shrubbery for both commercial and residential jobs and now primarily oversees many of our commercial landscaping projects. Dan also assists East Coast Green’s snow removal division, managing of one of the largest distribution centers in the quad-state area.
Dan lives in Spring Run with wife, Kim. When not at work, Dan enjoys riding his motorcycle, camping, boating, and spending time with friends and family.
Jessee McMath
A member of the East Coast Green team since the spring of 2010, Jessee is responsible for the designing, estimating, and supervision of commercial and residential project installations, as well as the management of commercial projects, including hardscaping and irrigation systems.
Jessee received a Bachelor of Science degree in Landscape Architecture from West Virginia University. He is an Allan Block Certified Installer, and Technical Certified Applicator.
Jessee lives in Chambersburg with his wife, Candice and daughter, Elliott. He is a co-founder of GearHouse Brewing Company in Chambersburg. When not working you’ll most likely find him in the woods, biking and hiking with his dog, Mika.
Susan Varner
Sue manages all areas of the company’s accounting, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable, and financial reporting, including monthly and annual reports, tax reporting, inventory adjustments, and licensing.
She joined East Coast Green in June 2002, and lives in Fannettsburg with husband Sam and their dog, Rocky. Sue spends her leisure time in the outdoors, hiking, camping, fishing, going to the beach, and pursuing photography, painting, and enjoying her grandson, Jaxon. Sue also became a certified scuba diver in 2015.
Isaac Aguilar
Isaac came to East Coast Green in 2007 after five years with the Davey Tree Expert Company in Northern Virginia. He began as a landscaping crew leader and was recently promoted to Assistant Project Manager and Maintenance Supervisor, in charge of all residential and commercial maintenance, including mowing, lawn treatments, and property clean- up.
Isaac hails from Mexico, from where he moved in 2002. He now lives in Chambersburg with his wife and four children. When not at work, Isaac enjoys playing and watching soccer, cheering on his kids’ soccer and basketball teams, and spending time with family and friends.
Laurie Collins
Laurie is responsible for payroll and all related reports, administration of benefits, and documentation for all employees. Laurie came to East Coast Green in October 2019 as an Accounts Payable Assistant and transitioned to her current position in September 2020.
Laurie is a Penn State Master Gardener who has volunteered time over the past twelve years teaching the public about pollinators and related gardening practices. She and husband Keith like spending time at home in Fannettsburg with their pets, gardens, and fish pond. They also enjoy hand rearing butterflies, watching birds, photographing nature, and taking an occasional trip to the beach.
Justin Zeis
A member of the East Coast Green team since October 2015, Justin oversees our estimating team, bidding potential jobs, striving to meet the needs of both customer and vendor. Additionally, he handles the administrative work associated with each job we are contracted to do. Justin works closely with our Project Managers to ensure compliance, and assists with the purchase of plant material necessary to complete the work.
Justin graduated from Shippensburg University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, majoring in Management. He lives in Mercersburg with wife Kristy, and their four dogs. In his free time, Justin enjoys hunting, fishing, watching baseball, and spending time with family and friends.
Jennifer Webster
Jennifer Sponseller Webster joined East Coast Green in November 2017 as the first-ever employee in 25 years dedicated to marketing and public relations. She managed our website overhaul in 2018-2019, manages our social media accounts, advertising campaigns, and public outreach. Before East Coast Green, Jennifer had a long and successful career in media sales and publishing with Alter Communications, Maryland Life magazine, Hagerstown magazine, and The Equiery magazine. She received a bachelor of Arts degree from Washington College in 1992.
An avid horseman, Jennifer trains and competes show horses, foxhunts with the Potomac Hunt in Maryland, and works part time as Association Manager for the Maryland Association for Wildlife Conservation, a lobbying organization for fox hunting clubs and foot hound packs. She is also competitive runner. Jennifer and her husband Chauncey have two sons and a farm full of assorted critters in St. Thomas, PA.
Doug Lillich
Doug joined East Coast Green in the spring of 2021 after working 26 years for several prominent site development contractors in the local area where he developed a complete knowledge of site construction. He is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology. Doug is responsible for the oversight and management of East Coast Green’s Project Managers, Estimators and office staff. He works with new customers on business development possibilities. He is also highly involved in many other projects for Webster Ventures and works with Chauncey on the design and construction of residential housing developments.
Doug is from Spring Grove, Pennsylvania area where he lives on a small farmette with his wife Amy, 5 children, and 4 dogs. When not at work , Doug enjoys attending his kids sporting events, working around the farm and hunting.
Betty Bingaman
Betty joined the East Coast Green team in the fall of 2019. She brings to the table a variety of skills and is utilized as an assistant to all things accounting and has expanded her knowledge into further participation with our estimating team.
As a Greencastle native, Betty and her husband Bob have raised two sons, Bobby Jr. and Brady, and continue to reside in a historic schoolhouse just a few short miles from where she grew up. Betty and her husband enjoy Chincoteague fishing vacations, adventures on their Harley, “Black Betty”, and hunting time at “Squirrel Ridge”. Betty enjoys time in nature, exploring the woods, or a newly revealed sandbar, watching a new day dawn, gardening, her girl Roxy, Photography, and The Davisson Brothers Band. With a fierce loyalty to God and family, Betty believes at the end of life, it is not what you bought, but what you built that matters.
